Dr. Carol J. Johnson-Coote has served as a leader in the field of education for the past 21 years. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication from Florida Atlantic University, a Master of Science in English Education, and a Doctorate in Organizational Leadership with a Specialization in Educational Leadership from Nova Southeastern University.
She has been a teacher, team leader, department chair, committee chair, and assistant principal. Currently, she is the English Department Chairperson and the 21st Century Community Learning Center Site Coordinator at Coconut Creek High School in Coconut Creek, Florida. She was nominated and selected twice as “Teacher of the Year”.
Dr. Johnson-Coote is a highly visible teacher leader at her school, and she is passionate about the power of education in changing and influencing lives, not only for this generation but for the ones to come.
